In the middle of the 19th century, breeders noticed that English lops rarely suffered from ear scabs. That is why they thought - wrongly - that this type of rabbit was less at risk. So they crossed English lops with their land rabbits and predecessors of the Flemish giant, in order to arrive at the breed with the desired ears: the French Lop.
This charmer is very affectionate, especially to children. He also gets along really well with dogs and cats. The word fear is not in his dictionary. He almost seems like a puppy, curiously examining everything and following you around. He often sleeps on his side or back, definitely not ready to sprint away.
